Good Haul donates all reusable items to local community partners. We also depend on our corporate teammates to refer clients or use our services. One of our Corporate Teammates is The Organizing Professionals based out of Philadelphia and the Main Line. The Organizing Professionals is an professional organizing and move management company, providing a multitude of services to Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties! 

Last week, they were able to answer a few questions for us about their company and why they choose to partner with Good Haul versus other junk haulers. We're thankful for the Organizing Professionals continued partnership. Continue reading more from our short interview below: 

Q. Can you tell us a bit about The Organizing Professionals (TOP) and its mission?

“Transforming Lives Through Our Passion for Organization” is our company tagline and mission statement. Our employees derive huge satisfaction from the daily impact we have in changing our clients’ lives for the better. We offer residential organizing, move management, photo organizing and computer organizing services. Our move management services include assistance with downsizing, decluttering, packing, floor planning, unpacking and organizing.

Q. What motivated your company to partner with Good Haul?

We support Good Haul’s mission to donate usable furniture and items to nonprofits across the Philadelphia area, including the Philadelphia Furniture Bank. The Organizing Professionals encourages clients to donate and recycle the items they do not wish to keep, and we are thrilled to collaborate with Good Haul to ensure these items are taken to the appropriate locations for reuse.

Q. Can you tell us a bit about how your company and Good Haul collaborate?

The Organizing Professionals schedules Good Haul for donation pickups at clients’ homes.  We appreciate Good Haul’s timely responses and no-hassle scheduling.

Q. How does your company prioritize sustainability and environmental responsibility? How does Good Haul play into that?

The Organizing Professionals chooses to donate and recycle materials to limit the number of items going to landfills. As part of our commitment to the environment, we proudly store and reuse packing materials for future move management projects.  Janet Bernstein, owner of The Organizing Professionals, is a board member of The Wardrobe, who provides a stable source of well-maintained and displayed clothing suitable for any need, from casual to workwear. We educate our clients on the benefits of donating and recycling both small and large items, and we are pleased to offer Good Haul as a resource for larger donation removal.

Q. How can other companies learn from your experience and contribute to sustainable practices in their own operations?

We hope to be an example to other companies, and strongly encourage other companies to keep items out of landfills.

Q. If you had to summarize your experience working with Good Haul in a few sentences, what would you say?

Good Haul has made our donation removal process smoother and less stressful for clients. Our clients are relieved to know their items are going to others who will use them and find value in them.  We find Good Haul to be a reliable, dependable and trustworthy company.
