Saying Goodbye to AmazonSmile
In 2013, Amazon launched a program in which shoppers could have a portion of their order benefit our organization from the AmazonSmile Foundation. We joined in, and many of our supporters were delighted to have this additional way of giving back. However, after nearly 10 years, Amazon has announced that their AmazonSmile nonprofit donation program will come to an end on February 20, 2023.
While we are disappointed about this news, we are so very thankful for the support we received from all of you over the years. With the discontinuation of this program, we’d like to remind you of other creative ways to support our mission to provide homes, restore health and reclaim lives:
- Join our Housing First Heroes by setting up a monthly gift
- Check to see if your company will match your gifts
- Attend Furnished for Good or bid on items virtually
- Donate furniture to the Philadelphia Furniture Bank
- Volunteer with us
- Make a planned gift: give a gift of stock, donate from your IRA, or include us in your estate plan or will
- Host a collection drive for our emergency pantry
- Share our posts to your networks on social media
- And many more options here!
