Furnished for Good was a success!
On Tuesday, April 30, we hosted our annual Furnished for Good fundraiser at Cherry Street Pier.
Furnished for Good is a one-of-a-kind art exhibit, virtual auction, and artist celebration event showcasing the teamwork and creativity of prominent local artists and designers who take inspiration from our Philadelphia Furniture Bank to create original works of art. The artwork was displayed at Cherry Street Pier leading up to the event, and we received more than 200 bids by the time the auction closed on Tuesday evening.
The event, which was presented by CORT, raised nearly $50,000 to support the Philadelphia Furniture Bank! We are so grateful to all of our sponsors for helping to make the event a success.

Funds raised from Furnished for Good supports individuals and families in deep poverty who are moving out of homelessness to receive much needed furniture. Thanks to our supporters, we will be able to furnish the homes of more than 1,400 families this year, which creates the stability and dignity that everyone deserves.
